Let's Get Fit Together!

_The US Surgeon General recommends adults that adults walk at least 10,000 steps/day to maintain a healthy BMI (body mass index).  The health benefits of this amount of activity include:  lower risk of diabetes, cancer and heart disease, lower blood pressure and reduced cholesterol, weight loss, increased flexibility and coordination, helps you relax and sleep better, increased bone density (which aids in the prevention of osteoporosis) and increased energy & mental well-being.  Sound like a no-brainer?  We agree!  So let's get started!!

In the spring of 2012 we offered two Fit Together! Challenges:
  • Individual 12 week Fit Together! Challenge (February 6th - April 30th)
  • Corporate/group 8 week Fit Together! Challenge (March 5th - April 30th)

We posted information about the Corporate Fit Together! Challenge here, and the Individual Fit Together! Challenge, click here.  And YES, you can do BOTH (without having to do twice the steps - so you really get DOUBLE the credit for each step you take ... hard to pass up, right?).
